What we collect
- Guests: the name you choose, your IP address, and the country we work out from it.
- Members: your username, e-mail address, password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form), and anything you add to your profile, such as age, gender, photos and a mood line.
- What you share in the chat: messages, private messages, images, voice notes and drawings.
- Purchases: for VIP or Gold we keep an order record (account, plan, price, date, order number and e-mail). Your card details go straight to our payment processor and are never stored by us.
- Contact form: your name, e-mail address and message.
Why we use it
To run the chat and your account, keep the room safe and enforce the rules, process purchases, answer your messages, and protect the site from spam and attacks. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
- Messages in the main room and private messages are deleted automatically after 12 hours.
- Member accounts that stay inactive for 30 days are deleted automatically, along with their profile.
- Reports, moderation records and order records are kept longer, as long as we need them to enforce the rules or meet legal and accounting obligations.
- Our hosting and security providers keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for a limited period.
Who else handles your data
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, so it sees your IP address and requests.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks that contact-form messages come from a person.
- AgeVerif handles age verification for visitors from countries where we ask for it. We use an IP lookup service (ipwho.is) to tell which country you are in.
- Law enforcement, when the law requires us to share information or a child's safety is at risk.
Cookies
The chat uses cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your settings. They are needed for the chat to work. We don't use advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can chat as a guest without giving an e-mail address, and edit or remove your profile details at any time. To ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be deleted, contact us from the e-mail address on the account.
Adults only
Adult Chat is not for anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we close it and delete their information, except where the law requires us to keep it.
