How to Use the Chat

Getting in

Open the chat and you will see three choices.

Guest login: pick a name that isn't taken and you are in. No e-mail needed.
Register now: choose a username and password and add your e-mail address. Your name is then yours, and you can build a profile, add friends and make calls.
Login: come back to your account any time.
Depending on your country, you may be asked to confirm your age before you can chat. Everyone in the room must be 18 or older.

Everything lives on one screen.

The conversation runs down the middle. The newest messages are at the bottom.
The member list sits on the right. On a phone, tap ☰ in the bottom bar to show or hide it.
Type at the bottom and press Enter to send.
Top bar: the envelope is your private messages, the person icon is friend requests, the bell is notifications, and your photo opens your menu.
Bottom bar: the dice open the casino games, the game pad opens the arcade, and the diamond opens the Store.

Registered members get a full profile.

Tap your photo in the top-right corner to open your menu, then tap your name to edit your profile.
Tap the camera on the round picture to upload a profile photo.
Use Edit info, Edit about me and Edit mood to tell people about yourself. Your mood line shows under your name in the member list.
The Photos tab holds extra pictures for your profile. Edit email and Change password keep your account up to date.

Say it however you like.

Tap the smiley to add emoji.
Tap + to open the extras: search for a GIF, sketch something on the drawing pad, or open the games.
Tap the paperclip to share a picture.
Tap the microphone to record a quick voice note.
Tap any message and choose Quote to reply to it directly.

Take any conversation one-on-one.

Tap a member in the list, or their picture in the chat, to open their card.
Tap Private. A private window opens on the right.
Tap − to shrink the window and carry on in the main room. New private messages light up the envelope in the top bar.

A member card

Calls are for registered members, and registering is free.

Open a member's card and tap Call, then start a video or voice call.
They see an incoming call and choose Answer or Decline.
The first time, your browser asks permission to use your camera or microphone. Nothing switches on until you allow it.
Either of you can hang up whenever you like. Never record a call without the other person's agreement.

The Action button on a member card holds the rest.

Add friend sends a friend request. Friends appear in the friends tab of the member list.
Send gift lets you send a gift, and Share wallet sends some of your Gold.
Ignore hides everything that member says to you. Open the same menu again to undo it.

Seen something that breaks the rules? Tell us.

Tap the message, or the ⋯ beside it, and choose Report.
Pick the reason that fits and tap Report. Our moderators review every report.
Please only report real problems. False reports can get your own account in trouble.

Take a break from chatting.

Tap the dice in the bottom bar for the casino: blackjack, roulette, slots, poker, plinko, mines, keno and more. You play with Gold.
Tap the star next to a game to keep it at the top of your list.
Tap the game pad for the arcade games, which are for VIP and VIP+ members.

Optional extras. The chat itself stays free.

Open your menu and tap Wallet to see how much Gold you have.
Gold is the chat's own play money. It has no cash value and can't be cashed out.
Tap the diamond in the bottom bar to open the Store, where you can buy Gold or upgrade to VIP. VIP is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
